St Austell Brewery announce winning line-up of seasonal ales

To kick off the New Year, award-winning craft Cornish ale expert, St Austell Brewery, has launched its 2013 programme of seasonal ales.

From traditional pale ales and warming winter brews, to light golden ales for spring and summer, the stellar line-up includes brand new brews and twists on the firm favourites.

Cornwall Sustainability Awards

We are proud to announce that The County Arms in Truro won the Retro-fit award in the 2012 Sustainable Construction category. The Accommodation wing at The County Arms Inn was designed and constructed by local firms to exacting environmental standards.  The aim of Cornwall Sustainability Awards is to encourage, reward and gain recognition for some of the excellent work businesses are doing to improve their sustainability.

Around 200 guests packed the Green Lawns Hotel in Falmouth to celebrate the awards 10th anniversary and the work businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly are doing to improve their sustainability.

Three cheers for charity - thousands of revellers do their bit for local good causes

APEX_Celtic_Beer_Festival_11Despite the downpours, revellers came in their droves to the 14th Celtic Beer Festival at St Austell Brewery on Saturday (24th November) and celebrated their way to raising more than £12,000 for the Brewery’s Charitable Trust. 

By 1pm, the Victorian wine cellars underneath Brewery were already full to capacity and a one-in-one-out system was in place.
