Molesworth Arms welcomes new team

Molesworth Arms welcomes new team The Molesworth Arms Hotel in Wadebridge is celebrating the arrival of a brand new team behind the bar.

Jim and Elaine Ellery have become managers of the popular town centre pub and hotel - part of the 173-strong St Austell Brewery estate.

The couple bring with them more than 20 years industry experience and are being supported by their daughter and son-in-law, Tasha and Tim Jenkins.

Over the past 20 years Jim and Elaine have run pubs across Cornwall, including St Austell Brewery's Hewas Inn in Sticker. Most recently, Elaine has been working at the Wadebridge Conservative Club before taking over the Molesworth Arms.

Tasha and Tim are also well-known faces in Wadebridge, having spent seven years running The Bay Tree Restaurant in the town.

Elaine said: "We're really delighted to be back behind the bar of a St Austell Brewery pub and look forward to welcoming familiar and new faces through the door. It's going to be a real family effort behind running the Molesworth and we hope this will be evident through the friendly welcome guests can expect as well as the traditional home-cooked locally sourced food on the menu."

Jim and Elaine have retained all the existing staff at the Molesworth including Chef Vasilios Marvriano, who is now joined by Matthew Westlake.

Diners can sample the very best in locally sourced ingredients served in the  relaxed bar area. Food is served between 12pm- and 9pm seven days a week and the menu also features a specials board - which is updated daily.  A Sunday Carvery is served in Da boes restaurant, which is also available to book for special occasions or functions.

For more information or bookings, contact the Molesworth Arms Hotel on: 01208 812055.
