Raise a Glass to the Queen’s Golden Jubilee

St Austell Brewery launches limited edition Royal Diamond Imperial IPA

Street parties, and pubs, up and down the country will be marking 60 years of the Queen’s reign in June 2012 and that means one thing … celebratory British food and drink!

To mark the occasion, award-winning Cornish brewer, St Austell Brewery, is launching an incredibly special limited edition ale. The aptly named Royal Diamond Imperial IPA, a strong fine IPA, has undergone secondary fermentation in Champagne bottles at the Camel Valley Vineyards in North Cornwall for that extra special lightly sparkling touch.

At a regal 9%, the beer pours honey amber and its fruity hops and fine mousse will delight the palate - a truly memorable beer.

Perfect for sharing at your Jubilee celebration, Royal Diamond is best served chilled and in a champagne flute. To compliment the Royal ale, pair with seared scallops in butter and bacon with asparagus.

St Austell Pubs throughout Cornwall will be celebrating the Jubilee, none less than the Jubilee Inn in Pelynt, Cornwall!

Royal Diamond Imperial IPA is available online from May at www.staustellbreweryshop.co.uk and costs £12 per bottle.  Only 1000 bottles have been produced so place your order soon!
