A Tribute to Bude Jazz

Bude Jazz 2012This year, Bude Jazz 2012 is set to be bigger and better than ever before thanks to a generous boost from St Austell Brewery.

The Brewery’s flagship ale, Tribute, will sponsor the musical event, now in its 25th year.  This year’s celebrations will take place across the town  between 28th – 31st August this summer.

Paul Mayor, Chairman of Bude Jazz 2012, said. “It’s really great to have a partnership with one of the South West’s leading beer brands. Traditional Jazz has for many years been part of the Bude music scene, as has St Austell Brewery been part of the real ale and pubs fabric in the area.”

Paul added “We have in excess of 60 events with over 35 bands taking part in more than 13 venues during this year’s celebrations. There has been great interest so far and ticket sales are going exceptionally well so we look forward to a magnificent festival once again.”

Marc Bishop, St Austell Brewery Trade Marketing Manager said. “We are delighted to support this year’s Bude Jazz event. It’s a perfect fit for us as we already have a lot of Tribute fans in the area, and what better than give something back to the area and toast this memorable occasion with a pint of Tribute?“
