Inside, the pub has three open fires to warm customers as they enjoy a choice of traditionally cooked, locally sourced food along with a choice of award winning St Austell ales.

DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS: The Golden Lion will be offering customers the chance to sample a special menu of traditional English foods and beers, with every main course from the menu giving a £1 donation to Macmillan Cancer Support in Cornwall from Friday 1st June until Tuesday 5th June. And to wash it all down, St Austell Brewery ales are being offered at 60p below normal price. To top it all they will be hosting two evenings of entertainment to help celebrate the Queen’s reign and to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Click here to read more.

The camp site has a number of onsite facilities such as showers and WC.
The cottage has one bathroom with shower bath and WC. Description:
The cottage sleeps 3 people, it has a double and a single room.
Rates:
- Camping is £8 a night for a pitch
The bar is open from 12.00 noon - 2.00pm and 6.00pm - late everyday.
Food is served 12.00 noon - 2.00pm and 6.00pm - 9.00pm everyday.
Children are very welcome we provide children's menus and high chairs.
All our food is homemade.
We have a bar menu, an a la carte menu and specials board which changes regularly.
We are situated opposite Stithians Lake where there is boating available.
Fly fishing and coarse fishing available on the lake.
Only 7 miles from the coast.
Award winning beer garden at the back of the pub.
Health and fitness centre just 3 miles away.

Main access routes: Where we are: Situated on the bank of Stithians Lake, in the hills between Redruth, Falmouth and Truro. Main access routes: Redruth railway station only 4 miles away. 20 miles to Newquay airport. Directions: As you come off the A30 into Redruth take the Helston road out, then take the first left at the top of the hill. The pub is on the left.
