St Austell's latest eating place. The Hop & Vine Steak and Ale house, St Austell’s newest eating and drinking venue opened its doors on Wednesday 11th April following a complete refurb that has transformed the building which formally housed O’Callaghan’s pub at the top of Market Street, St Austell. Almost £90,000 has been spent to create sumptuous, light and airy surroundings offering visitors the chance to wine and dine in a relaxed modern environment at the heart of St Austell town.
As the name suggests at the top of the menu, The Hop & Vine Steak and Ale House offers delicious locally sourced meats along with the award winning range of St Austell Ales. The pub offers a great menu to cater for everyone’s taste buds and we are especially lucky to have a former Rick Stein chef in the kitchen.

Open 11.00am - 11.00pm Monday - Saturday and 7.00pm - 10.30pm on Sunday.
As well as steaks served on sizzling platters the menu hosts a variety of options which place an emphasis on healthy eating including delicious pastas, light salads and more authentically Tajines, a Moroccan delicacy.
Food is served daily from 11am-10pm and the pub also hosts an extensive wine and cocktail list.
