Situated amongst delightful old Cornish cottages, and just a stone throw from the historic 13th Century church of St Mellanus, The Old Inn, welcomes visitors to enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, fine locally sourced food and comfortable en suite accommodation.

Steeped in history and laying at the heart of village life since the 16th Century it has provided much needed food and respite to weary travellers.

Retaining much of its original charm and character, The Old Inn, makes the ideal retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We like ensure that all our guests enjoy a pleasant and convenient stay, we offer ample parking, a dog-friendly policy and a private garden for guests staying in any of our five rooms.

The Lizard Peninsula with its timeless tranquillity, rich history and dramatic costal scenery is designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.

Almost completely surrounded by the sea and standing quite alone from the rest of the country, the Lizard is renowned for its warm climate, serpentine cliff's, exotic flowers and beautiful sandy beaches.

Mullion is the largest village on the Lizard peninsula and here, visitors can expect to experience a real taste of village life with Mullion's delightful shops, cafes, craft shops and art galleries.

Guests may also like to explore the three surrounding beaches that are all within walking distance from the village, as well as Mullion Cove, with its pretty working harbour.

Food & Drink

The Old Inn serves food all day from May until October, with evening meals and lunch available during the winter months of the year.

The extensive menu caters for all tastes, with everything from hearty traditional favourites; steak, fish and chips, curry and bolognese through to poached salmon, salads and daily chef's specials.

The menu features meat, fish and vegetarian options with a range of lighter snacks, sandwiches and salads available.
