The Turnpike Inn is a lovely late 17th, early 18th century property that lies in the centre of Connor Downs. With a dining room, bar and games room, there is plenty of space for everybody. Interesting mainly homemade menu.
Boasting several pool, darts & euchre teams there is something here for everyone. In the summer a large beer garden is available away from the roadside with plenty of parking space.

Bar open Monday to Saturday 11.30am - 11.00 pm and Sunday 12.00 to 10.30 pm.
Food served Monday to Sunday 12.00 noon to 2.30pm and 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
Well behaved children always welcome in dining and games room.

Main access routes: The Turnpike Inn can be found in the centre of Connor Downs on the old A30 which runs between Hayle and Camborne. Hayle just 1 mile away boasts 3 miles of golden sands and lies on the opposite side of St Ives Bay and the picturesque town of St Ives itself. Main access routes: Camborne and Hayle both have stations on the main London to Penzance rail line. Although Connor Downs is bypassed by the main A30, junctions can be found only one mile away at the main turn off point to Hayle.
