The Three Crowns is a beautiful coaching inn situated in the pretty stannary town of Chagford on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon. Noted for its impressive granite façade, the building dates back to the 13th century and was a manor house before becoming an inn. Each of the 21 en-suite bedrooms has been luxuriously refurbished, blending character with contemporary design.
The Three Crowns has an extensive menu accompanied by daily changing specials. Where possible all ingredients are grown, reared or caught locally. All dishes are carefully prepared by our team of accomplished chefs led by our award winning Executive Head Chef, Peter Hingston.
Stay at the Three Crowns and you are surrounded by an area of the most outstanding natural beauty - the Dartmoor National Park. There are plenty of walks from the town in every direction - whether you want a riverside stroll along the spectacular Teign Valley, or a serious hike up a nearby tor. Matt & Sally Perkins and their team look forward to welcoming you.
