We need a Demand Planner to assist in the mplementation and management of a new M.R.P. system. Reporting to the Logistics Director, this newly created position will ensure timely and cost effective availability of product. The role requires new product introduction, demand analysis, forecasting, stock replenishment and purchasing skills of the highest order. You will operate cross-functionally and with external suppliers and manage a continuous programme to improve performance and relationships to achieve targeted KPIs.
The ideal candidate will bring:
• A strong awareness of the best practice in M.R.P. purchasing and stock management.
• Effective communication skills and a result driven attitude to build positive working relationships both internally and externally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Demand Planner who is capable of defining and developing a new role within St Austell Brewery.

Chief Engineer
Responsible for the management of the Brewery workshops and our small team of fitters, this role will suit a practical hands-on engineer. The ability to multi-task is essential, from project planning through to sleeves rolled up machinery repair. Due to increasing automation in the Brewery and the recent commissioning of a SCADA system, knowledge of electronic process control systems would be an advantage.
Packaging Team Leader
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual tolead a team of operators processing and packaging beer and cider into cask, keg and bottle. Responsible for all aspects of the day-today packaging processes, you will encourage and lead your team while prepared to carry out hands-on duties as needed. A practical knowledge of packaging plant operation and maintenance will be required. In particular, with our new small-scale bottling line due to go live in Spring 2009, direct experience of beer bottling would be an advantage. You will demand exacting standards both of yourself and others. Attention to detail is essential and knowledge of, and the ability to adhere to the BRC standard will be required. Qualification to, or a willingness to work towards the IBD Diploma would be an advantage.
