Church House Inn - Kingsbridge |
 |
The Church House Inn at Churchstow, prominently situated on the A379 Kingsbridge to Plymouth Road approximately 1.5 miles west of Kingsbridge, is a fine historic Inn which began life as a Benedictine’s monks Rest Home, belonging to the old Buckfast Abbey. Many of the great beams and stone walls are of the original structure, reputed to date from 1254. The building was subsequently used to house the masons working on the local church building, hence the name of the pub. The Church House Inn has a well-deserved reputation for good food. The Grade 2 Listed building is a popular house and draws trade from far and wide.David, Susan and their team welcome you to the Church House Inn where you can find great home cooked food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We look forward to welcoming you.
