The bar is open 11.00am - 3.00pm 6.00pm - 11.00pm Sunday - Thursday and from 11.00am - 11.00pm Friday and Saturday. We are not serving food at present but look out for our new range of bar meals next year.

Boating: Canal and Quay only 10 minutes away. Dancing: A number of nightclubs in Exeter centre for all ages and to suit all music tastes. Only 10 minutes away. Gamesrooms: We have a pool table, dart board, fruit machines and a Juke box in the bar. There is also background music in the lounge. Gardens: We have a forecourt at the front of the pub and when the weather is nice tables and chairs are put out. Music: We have Karaoke every Friday night without fail and a disco on Sunday night. Swimming: There are two indoor swimming pools in Exeter centre only 10 minutes away. You can also swim at St Thomas which is also only 10 minutes away. Walking: There are lots of walks in the area. Directions: At the counterweir roundabout head towards Exeter when you come to St. Lloyds College, when you get to the college turn immediately right and the Tap and Barrel will be 150 yards down the road on the right.
