The Kings Arms, St Stephen is an old inn originally built as a house for the workers to build the church directly opposite, which was consecrated in 1261. The Pub has one bar which enables locals and visitors to meet in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Accommodation
The Inn is open from Sunday - Thursday from 12 noon to 11pm, and from 12 Noon to 12 midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. We offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation with tea and coffee making facilities and colour TV. The rooms have recently been completely refurbished.

Food & Drink
We offer a good pub food menu and aim to use local produce whenever possible. We also have regular food specials and always offer a vegetarian option. Lunch is served on Sundays from 12 noon. We have a good range of real ales, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks
Local Amenities
There is a large on-site car park, and we also have a large beer garden. We have a Darts Board, Pool Table and Juke Box in the bar. Live music is regularly available. There are many pretty walks in the area. The Eden Project is about 6 miles away, as is The Lost Gardens of Heligan. There is a bowling green in the village, as well as tennis courts, a football pitch and an excellent play area for children. Horse riding is available in the local area, and there is a nearby campsite

St Stephen is approximately 5 miles west of St Austell on the main Newquay road, (Newquay being about 8 miles away). The Kings Arms is situated in the heart of the village, opposite the shop and the church. St Stephen is also on the main bus route to St Austell and Truro..
