Candidates who have completed the Intermediate Level Certificate or who are at a supervisory level in the licensed trade.

What qualification do I get?

  • Assessment is via a multiple-choice examination, short answer questions and blind tasting. On successful completion you will be issued the Advanced WSET Certificate. 

    The Wine & Spirit Education Trust exists to further growth in the knowledge of wines and spirits.  It has become the leading provider of vocational training for the Wine & Spirit trade and is recognised by the UK Government as a National Awarding Body
