Thank you for looking into tenanted opportunities with St Austell Brewery. Whether you're a first time applicant or an experienced pub operator, here is a brief overview of what to expect when applying.
PEAT is an online learning course that enables you to identify the key responsibilities that you need to understand before you sign an agreement with us. Completion of PEAT is a mandatory requirement under the Pub Industry Framework code of Practice. Please take the time to visit the BII PEAT Pre-Entry Awareness Training website.
A personal licence is a mandatory requirement for anyone involved in the sale of alcohol from licensed premises. All licensed premises must have a named personal licence holder, known as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS).

As part of your application you will be required to complete a business plan specific to the pub you are applying to run. The plan will allow you to highlight your ideas and tell us what skills you will bring to the business. It is also an effective tool that enables you to assess whether it is the right business for you. Download our Business Plan template.
