Saturday 24th November - if the date for this year’s Celtic Beer Festival isn’t already in your diary, it should be now.
Our 20th Celtic Beer Festival is set to be the biggest yet; 20 years of one of Cornwall’s best parties deserves a celebration in its own right. And the 2018 Celtic Beer Festival is set to be a belter.
Held in the ancient and atmospheric cellars of St Austell Brewery, festival-goers come from far and wide to sample different ales, stouts and lagers. Live bands play all day and night – it’s a beer festival like no other.
The four bars serve St Austell Brewery's own award-winning beers, including favourites Tribute, Proper Job and Korev, along with new and limited-edition beers brewed just for the festival.
Remember: all profits from the event go straight to St Austell Brewery’s Charitable Trust. Since the Charitable Trust was created in 2003, the festival itself has raised more than £215,000 for charities and worthy causes across the south west.
Enjoy the merriment, drink responsibly and help us raise the most amount yet at any one event for the Charitable Trust. See you on the 24th November!

Preparing for the 2019 Celtic Beer Festival
Any passionate beer-festival-goer will say pre-planning your beers on the programme in advance is as important as the event itself! Well almost.
Getting to the event (and home!) is just as important. This year we know there are some planned rail works on the day of the festival with a replacement bus service between Plymouth and St Austell.
Without stating the obvious, it’s completely out of our hands, but we’d recommend factoring in a bit of extra time so you can spend as much time possible enjoying Cornwall’s biggest party.
Our advice: keep an eye on GWR.com/SWupgrade for all the latest updates.
