Barracuda - 3.8%

With a fruity yet pine-like aroma, a crisp light colour and a keen bitter finish, Barracuda is a session pale ale that will fulfil all your expectations but challenge the taste buds at the same time.

Brewed using First Gold, Styrian Wolf, Citra & Calypso hops, Barracuda has a real bite, giving contrasting fruit and pine flavours and aromas, balanced with a combination of traditional Maris Otter with wheat and Vienna malts.

Crafted by Max Hartmann, our young German trainee brewer who is currently with us on an internship, some expert guidance was given by Roger Ryman, while our very own Estate Director Adam Luck also lent a hand to help brew the beer for a very special forthcoming party!

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask.
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
