Black & Gold 4.5% abv

This golden ale is made using honey from the Cornish Black Bee, which can be seen in the hives as you walk from the car park down to the main entrance of the Eden Project.

These bees are part of a county-wide project involving local beekeeping groups to try and re-establish the Black Bee population across Cornwall and further afield.

The Black Bees are excellent pollen collectors and we are delighted to be able to make use of the wonderful fruits of their labour.

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask.
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
