We’ve had an idea we wanted to share. We know we’re not alone in offering up something to the people doing great things right now, but it goes without saying we want to do our bit.
Is there someone you know who deserves a free pint? Right now there are people across communities large and small doing their bit; from our incredible NHS staff, volunteers and carers, supermarket and production workers, delivery drivers – and hundreds of heroes in-between.
If you know a key worker and want to say thank you for their incredible work – gift them a pint. Pints can be claimed in any St Austell Brewery managed pub, as well as the Hick’s Bar at the brewery – the list can be viewed here.
For every pint that’s gifted, the St Austell Brewery Charitable Trust will also match donate £4.50 to NHS Charities Together.
How to send a pint to someone:
1. Add 1 x ‘hero pint’ to your shopping basket
2. Enter your email address, the email address of who you’d like to gift a pint to and a short message.
3. We’ll send your nominated person a voucher with a single-use code along with the message and details of how, and where, they can redeem their pint.
The recipient will also receive a second email when social distancing restrictions have been lifted, and our pubs re-open, with a reminder about how and where to redeem their pint. Pints can be redeemed within three months of when pubs re-open.
