Overkill is underrated

Showcasing a wealth of new world hops, Overkill Is Underrated (OIU) forms part of a fast-growing trend for session India Pale Ales, keeping the full impact of the punchy, citrusy, highly hopped flavour of a traditional IPA but bringing the original gravity down - and ABV under 4% - into the realms of session drinking.
Brewed by Roger Ryman and featuring new Styrian Wolf hops and the, as yet, unnamed and enigmatic 07270 hops alongside Slovenian Aurora and American Simcoe, OIU is positively bristling with flavour, packing a powerful tropical fruit hit with a clean, dry finish.
At the base of the brew Cornish Maris Otter and Cara malts provide the perfect bitter-sweet balance to allow the fruit flavours of the hops to shine through, while the low original gravity of the ale will allow you to savour that flavour over a few more pints!

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask.
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
