Piney Ridge 4.2%

Inspired by a walk in the wilderness while brewer Joe Roberts was searching for the fabled Yakima Chief up on Piney Ridge, this American-hopped ale is as pale as the mountain streams from which it takes its name. Single-hopped with American Simcoe hops, a variety that has become synonymous with the craft beer scene and provides a pleasantly fruity-yet-earthy, herbal and piney aroma.
A subtle biscuity malt flavour supports the resinous hops and freshness from the locally foraged Norwegian spruce tips, to combine for a beautiful autumnal pale ale. Take a walk on the wild side and spruce up your beer glass.

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask.
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
