Graze Bar & Chophouse in Bath is Bath Ales' biggest outlet yet and is something of a flagship for all of us. The premises are part of Bath's food quarter in and around the arches of the 19th century railway station, originally built by none other than Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Our bar and restaurant takes up the entire first floor and boasts two large outside areas for al fresco drinking and dining.
The menu has a strong focus on British meat cookery with a particular emphasis on dry aged steak cooked in a searingly hot Josper charcoal oven. In addition to the seriously meaty fare there is also a great selection of small plates, fish and shellfish dishes and vegetarian options, as well as seasonal specials. Breakfast is served on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays from 9am.
Food service times are:
Monday – Saturday: 12pm until 10pm
Sunday: 12pm until 9pm
Drinks-wise, alongside an extensive range of wines from some superb boutique producers and a top quality list of premium spirits, you can of course find Bath Ales’ great range of ales and ciders along with some up and coming craft beers from around the world. Apart from offering great food and drink in a relaxed, vibrant and sophisticated atmosphere, there is a fully functional micro-brewery producing a unique brew, Platform 3, as well as small runs of one-off specialist craft beers.
There is also a fantastic open plan kitchen with a dining counter, a striking island bar and a meat hanging room visible to guests. There is capacity for 180 diners. We ask groups of 10 or more for a £10 deposit per head, with pre-orders required a week in advance. Dining times are set at either 6pm or 9pm with prior arrival. Please enquire for more details.
