Rockafella - 4.4%

After the success of Grandview, last year’s collaboration with Roosters, the idea of a deconstructed New York Cheesecake Pale Ale came about after months of discussion between Rob Orton and Ol Fozard, head brewer at Roosters.

Brewed in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, this is the first time that Cornish-grown Maris Otter has ever been used outside of St Austell Brewery and, coupled with Cornish Gold malt, gives a true St Austell Brewery style backbone to the ale.

Fittingly complemented by Yorkshire water, yeast and innovation, Rockafella is bursting with biscuit flavours from Cornish Gold, Amber and oat malts. Hand-prepared lemon juice, zest and peel as well as lashings of vanilla pods are used alongside Liberty, Centennial and Pacific Jade hops for clean citrus aromas.

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask.
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
