A delicious base of Vienna, wheat and malted oats is complemented with delicate spicing from added cardamom and vanilla.

Modestly bittered in the boil, the beer is finished with a generous dose of late and dry Saphir hops imported from Germany to give
a distinct flavour and authenticity to the brew. The flavour of aromatic hops is dominant with an underlying spiciness on the nose.

The palate is sweet but not cloying, and has a rich texture of malt, banana and vanilla with lingering dry hops on the finish.

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask. 
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
