Founded by Cornishman Walter Hicks in 1851, St Austell Brewery remains 100% independent and family owned, proud of its Cornish roots and committed to working locally with the best suppliers where possible.

Operating a growing and diverse business, St Austell Brewery’s award-winning range of beers is sold throughout the UK and internationally; the company owns a 178-strong estate of South West pubs, inns and hotels and, as one of the region’s largest wholesale and distribution businesses, supplies over 5,000 free trade customers in the hospitality and licensed sector.

Our suppliers vary greatly in terms of size, structure and operation and many will themselves be reliant on their own supply chains, potentially spanning many countries, to enable them to supply the relevant goods and services we require.

We work with over 3,000 suppliers across the region, encompassing raw ingredients for our beer and food in our pubs as well as goods and services not for resale, such as pub equipment, point of sale materials, IT equipment, utilities and waste services, contractors in the build environment, marketing, recruitment and a wide range of other professional services.

To ensure that we receive your request to supply us promptly and professionally, we have created a new portal allowing potential new suppliers to get their message across to the right person. Simply click below where you will find a series of questions to help you give our team of buyers information about your business and the product or service you wish to supply.
