tall order

A Festival Favourite originally brewed by Adam Sprague back in 2013. The name was inspired by Adam approaching the brewing team to create a porter for the Celtic beer festival only a couple of weeks before the event and being told it would be a tall order! Nothing to do with the fact he is a gentle giant at 6”6’!
Adam has been with the company 20 years in Wines & Spirits before successfully running The Western Inn at St Austell with his wife Carly for many years. Now firmly ensconced within the national sales team, he is the latest Sprague family representative to have worked at the Brewery, a tradition stretching back at least to the 1920s.
Dark and malty, Tall Order has a fine fruit and biscuit balance using a combination of old and new world hops to create a truly moreish taste.

This beer contains barley malt

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask. 
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
