Brewed with surplus bread from the Eden Project that would otherwise have gone to waste. Did you know that 44% of the world’s bread ends up in the bin? We decided to try and re-use some to create an extra special brew which, for added authenticity, was crafted by our in-house home baker-brewer, James Vincent.
James can often be found dishing out his freshly baked bread and cheese to a very receptive audience in the Visitor centre on a Friday afternoon (if all the brewing is done of course!) but there’s never enough of that left over to create a brew!
Inspired by the wider drive to prevent food wastage, Toast has delightful fruit aromas with the traditional biscuit and toffee taste of a classic English Ale. A flavoursome drop that’s far too good to waste!
We will donate 20p per pint sold to Toast Ale, who in turn donate all profits to Feedback to fight food waste

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask.
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
