Wolf in sheep's clothing - 5.2%

Created by Mike Notley who has been brewing with us for three and a half years, this wonderful Red IPA is a celebration of Styrian Wolf hops – a new hop variety from Slovenia that is fast becoming popular for its wonderful aroma and flavour.

Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing is also brewed with Crystal and Dark Crystal malts to give it a solid base as well as depth, flavour and a deep red colour.

Sometimes less is more and this single hop beer reveals the true taste of the Wolf hop - big tropical berry fruits, violet and elder flower notes with a hint of spice.

At 5.2% ABV, it allows higher quantities of the hop to be used in order to achieve more bitterness.

St Austell cask ales, in line with the vast majority of other cask ales produced in the UK, are clarified by the addition of isinglass finings to the beer in the cask.
As isinglass finings are derived from fish collagen, cask ales are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
