S ummer is edging ever closer as April brings brighter evenings, more opportunities to have fun in the sun, and a wave of exciting Easter celebrations.

CANONTEIGN FALLS HALF-PRICE LOCALS WEEKEND (1st-3rd)

UPCYCLED, ECO AND SALVAGE FESTIVAL (2nd)

Get eco at the Matford Centre in Exeter. This vibrant festival champions environmentalism and will show you how to reuse, recycle, repurpose, and re-finish anything and everything. Engage your sustainable mindset with workshops, demos, live music, and over 40 upcycled, salvage, and eco traders. Entry is £3 on the door. Find out more here.

UNIQUE EASTER GROTTO (9th – 22nd)

Step aside, Santa, as Milky Way Adventure Park has got a grotto with an Easter twist in store. A feast of chocolatey fun awaits as kids journey down the rabbit hole to collect a treat from the Easter Bunny. The new and expanded Easter Bunny HQ is loaded with eggs-tra fun this year; you can expect plenty of puzzles to solve and opportunities to make music. Check out the full details here.

EGGO-SAURUS DINO HUNT, CREALY (9th-24th)

Crealy Theme Park and Resort, near Exeter, is heading back to the Jurassic period for the Easter school holidays. Families can look forward to a dinosaur egg hunt that promises an egg-ceptional chocolatey prize for those who can track them all down. BRIXHAM PIRATE FESTIVAL (30th-2nd)

The Bank Holiday weekend is set to welcome a swashbuckling mix of piratical fun and entertainment. Brixham’s historic harbour will be transformed as it hosts a mass gathering of pirates. There’ll also be military and period reenactors, equipped with guns and cannons, not to mention live shanties and pirate rock. Find out more here.
