St Austell Brewery was founded as a family-owned company in 1851 – and we’ve been fuelled by Cornish spirit and independent thinking ever since.
We’re a company with ambition, but also a strong connection to our roots, heritage, and the region that’s shaped us. So to us, it’s never just business, it’s personal.
We’re so proud of this history, and our beers, pubs, wholesale arm, and our people. We’re proud of what makes them unique, and proud of what we can accomplish together. We support suppliers, develop talent and are part of a community which we’re passionate about serving well.
Despite honouring a legacy that roots us in the past, our eyes are always on the horizon and looking to the future. Our focus always has been, and remains, on empowering our people, building communities and protecting our special places. That means brewing great experiences that last and which benefit everyone, including the generations that will follow.

GIVING BACK THROUGH OUR CHARITABLE TRUST
Since 2003, the St Austell Brewery Charitable Trust has proudly supported local charities, community causes and individuals in need across the South West. It helps make a meaningful difference, close to home.
Through our Charitable Trust, we’re on a mission to install defibrillators outside over 50 of our pubs, which will bring vital lifesaving equipment to communities across the South West. 55 of our sites are in areas currently without access to a public defibrillator, so the campaign will help more people, in more places, when it matters most.
